My Exact Weekly Workflow as a Business Owner

When you work for yourself, the structure doesn’t come built-in.

You have to create it — and if you don’t, things quickly become chaotic.

After years of trial, error, and burnout, I’ve built a weekly workflow that actually supports my business and my life.
Here’s exactly how I structure my week — and how you can adapt it to your own business too.

Monday: Planning + Admin

I don’t dive straight into client work. Mondays are all about setting myself up for the week.

  • Weekly review + planning in Notion

  • Checking finances (FreeAgent makes this so easy)

  • Email clean-up + inbox zero

  • Reviewing Asana for deadlines + priorities

  • 30-minute CEO check-in with myself (vision, goals, energy)

Goal: Set direction. Start calm, not reactive.

Tuesday + Wednesday: Deep Work + Client Delivery

These are my most focused days. I protect them fiercely — no calls, no distractions.

  • Client work (designs, strategies, content, coaching, etc.)

  • Internal content creation (blogs, emails, lead magnets)

  • Working on long-term projects or launches

Tools I use:
→ Asana for task management
→ Notion for idea dumping
→ Canva for content creation
→ Loomly for social media scheduling

Goal: Get meaningful work done, not just stay busy.

Thursday: Marketing + Content

Thursdays are all about visibility. I use this time to work on my business — not just in it.

  • Batch record reels or short videos

  • Write and schedule emails

  • Plan next week’s social posts

  • Check in on lead magnets, funnels, and website

Goal: Stay visible and build trust with my audience — consistently.

Friday: Catch-Up + Light Tasks

Friday is a mix of tying up loose ends and giving myself breathing space.

  • Client check-ins + updates

  • Admin wrap-up (invoices, proposals, calendar)

  • Learning time (podcast, reading, Blueprint updates)

  • Early finish if possible!

Goal: End the week feeling clear, not chaotic.

Weekly Habits That Keep Me On Track

  • Sunday night: 10-minute look ahead so I don’t wake up anxious on Monday.

  • Daily check-in: I review Asana every morning and adjust if needed.

  • Time blocking: I block tasks on my Google Calendar to stay focused.

Structure = freedom.
